Appointments for specialist Women’s health GPs

We recognise everyone has a different health journey and appointment times need to be tailored.  We triage all referrals through a patient questionnaire and /or GP referrals.  Please contact our team to discuss. 

  • New patient Routine Women’s health appointment (30 mins) – $240
    Suitable for dealing with one issue such as contraception, period concerns, routine screening, bleeding patterns.  

    New patient Extended Women’s health appointment (45 Mins) – $295
    Perfect for your first appointment, dealing hormonal issues such as menopause, PMS/PMDD, PCOS, pelvic pain, well women’s checks or complex care.

  • This will be guided by your doctor and related to your needs following your new patient consult. 

    Short Review (15 mins) – $125
    Ideal for brief check-ins or reviewing test results

    Extended Review (up to 25 mins) –$180
    For follow-ups requiring more discussion or ongoing care.

    Scripts are only done for relevant medications and we do not take the place of your regular GP service.

    We are not an urgent service and scripts are processed within 2 business days.

    Patients must have been seen in last 6 months or at the discretion of the prescriber

    Controlled drugs are not prescribed. 

Procedures

  • Standard Fee: $65

    All procedures require a pre-consultation which can usually be done via phone. This allows our Women’s health GP’s to review your clinical information and ensure the procedure is best option for you and done at the right time.

    Sometimes patient’s may be eligible for subsidised procedures through the Canterbury Initiative. The preconsultation allows assessment of this criteria and alternative options if required.

    It also allows you to ask questions to ensure you are happy to proceed.

  • Insertion/Change of IUD:
    Standard Procedure Fees: from $295
    Subsidised Procedure Fee: from $65

    • Pre-consultation required

    • 30 mins appointment for insertion or change of IUD 

    • Complex procedures may incur additional fees

    • Subsidised fees apply if patient’s meet Canterbury Initiative criteria.

    • 6 week nurse appointment follow up IF required – $50

    Removal :
    Standard Fee: $125
    Complex Fee: $220

    • 15-30 minute appointment

    Unsuccessful Removal:
    Fee: $125

    • This covers clinical time, equipment and follow up referrals
