Breastfeeding Medicine and Infant Feeding Specialist.

Dr Beth Shore is a GP with a special interest in breastfeeding medicine, offering expert, compassionate support for all infant feeding journeys. Originally from the UK, she trained in Manchester and moved to Christchurch in 2013. Over the past four years, Beth has focused her practice on breastfeeding medicine, becoming a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and a founding board member of the Breastfeeding Medicine Association of Aotearoa.

Beth supports families with a wide range of feeding challenges, including latch issues, nipple pain, mastitis, supply concerns, oral ties, and medically complex situations. She also offers guidance for antenatal preparation, relactation, weaning, and inclusive support for the LGBTQIA+ community. With evidence-based care and a warm, non-judgmental approach, Beth aims to empower parents to feel confident, informed, and supported, whatever feeding looks like for their whānau.
